Healthcare software company Unlimited Technology Systems reported that more than 3.8 million people were impacted by a data breach incident that occurred in October 2025.

The reporting underscores the importance of treating third-party software and infrastructure as part of your own attack surface, since trust in a vendor is only as strong as the vendor’s own security posture.
